Board Certified Ophthalmologist
Nouman Siddiqui, M.D. received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Duke University (1999). After an internal medicine internship at the University of North Carolina, he completed his ophthalmology residency at Duke University. Dr. Siddiqui stayed on faculty at Duke as the Chief Resident in ophthalmology. Dr. Siddiqui then completed a glaucoma fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. He is board-certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology and practices comprehensive ophthalmology specializing in the treatment of glaucoma.
Dr. Siddiqui's primary area of interest and expertise is the diagnosis and management of glaucoma and cataracts. His particular interests lie in the use of glaucoma tube shunts for the surgical management of complicated and refractory glaucomas.
