Background:
Dr. Board has 30 years experience in Pediatric ophthalmology. He has been in practice in Raleigh since 1984. In 1994, Dr. Board retired from the United States Army Reserve with the rank of Colonel. He has been actively involved with Project Access of Wake County and served as past President of Prevent Blindness of North Carolina. Dr. Board is a member of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS), a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS), North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS) and the Wake County Medical Society (WCMS).
